BAFTA nominated stars to mingle with giant chocolate mask
| Luxury British chocolatier and cocoa grower, Hotel Chocolat, is creating a giant 30kg Bafta mask in chocolate and 24-carat gold, especially for the Bafta Nominees Party at Asprey. Stars will come face-to-face with the iconic one-metre tall mask, at Hotel Chocolat's exclusive Chocolate Room, where they will also have the chance to try some of the company's more conventionally sized chocolate creations. The mask itself will be made from a specially created mould and cast in Hotel Chocolat's exclusive 70% dark chocolate, using the equivalent of 300 'average' sized chocolate bars. And then on Friday, 10th February it will be hand-finished with 24-carat gold at the company's newest London flagship, Roast + Conch, in the Seven Dials district of Covent Garden – which will provide a stunning photo opportunity in advance of the mask being unveiled the day after. Hotel Chocolat is delighted to continue its partnership with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts for a fifth year, being Official Chocolate Partner to Bafta and continuing to celebrate British creativity in both film and chocolate. |
