Luxury British chocolatier and cocoa grower, Hotel Chocolat, is celebrating National Chocolate Week by launching a groundbreaking adventure into flavour pairing. The Cheese Tasting Experience is a fascinating tasting treat for lovers of both cheese and chocolate. With four artisan cheeses featuring in chef-created combinations with milk and dark chocolate and the key pairing ingredients that really make them work together like the ‘Blue Olive’ combination, for example, featuring stilton cheese and Saint Lucian dark chocolate, cut through with the saltiness of Kalamata olives. A delicious combination that needs to be tasted to be believed!
Also new for Chocolate Week is Entertaining with Chocolate a take home tasting event that is set to have customers tasting like experts within minutes featuring 80 chocolate tasting pieces, specially chosen ‘pairing nibbles’ and a list of suggested wines to add to the tasting fun.
Both of these exciting new products have been inspired by the success of the company’s Chocolate Tasting Events hosted in two London stores, at High Street Kensington and Borough Market. Such is the popularity of chocolate tasting that both venues have sold out for months ahead. However, Hotel Chocolat is staging a special, one-off Chocolate Week Tasting Event, in its High Street Kensington store on Friday 14th October. That’s as well as offering free samples of Hotel Chocolat’s own 66% Rabot Estate dark chocolate and a 66% Madagascan dark in-store all week.
And as one of the world’s few cocoa growing chocolate makers, Hotel Chocolat will also be appearing at Chocolate Unwrapped, held at Vinopolis on 15th& 16th October.
