Montgomery advises to stock up on eggs (that’s the non-chocolate variety!) fresh from the farm or supermarket. Create your own egg masterpieces - comical characters, or ‘egg heads’, resembling family members or your favourite celebs. Or get competitive and host your own family Egg ‘Jarping’ Championship. Similar to conkers, Jarping uses two hard boiled eggs and the aim is to break your components egg without breaking your own!
Try a traditional Easter egg hunt, with a twist, or change into some old clothes for a game of Easter catch - a raincoat might just come in handy!
And if the UK climate proves to be as unpredictable as ever, Montgomery also has some activities to keep the children - and the adults - entertained under cover.
