I have worked within the Confectionery environment for over twenty years now. Originally from a technical back ground, I moved into Production Management (for me this is where the real action is!) and have held various roles within this function.
In October 2009 the opportunity arose to join Hotel Chocolat. At my first interview I had the chance to look around the factory and I was instantly hooked. I wanted to be part of this company. The buzz and excitement hits you as you walk through the doors. You can feel the passion and drive of the people and I wanted to be part of this team.
I am now responsible for the production of the manufacturing of these fantastic chocolates and have a great team to work with. It was in at the deep end, it is a fast paced environment, and the speed of change is like nothing I have experienced before, this business is not for the faint hearted, but if you are looking for a challenge and want to work with great people and products this is the place to be.
