Ingredients - 300g Ginger bread
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 15g Butter
- 1 Teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
- 1 Teaspoon of ginger powder
- 2 Teaspoon of Paprika
- 3 Tomatoes
- 2 Teaspoons of Caster Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Hotel Chocolat Cocoa Nib Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Macho Liquid Chocolat
- 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Salt and Pepper to season
Method- Chop the onion and tomatoes into small pieces.
- Heat pan on a high heat and add the vegetable oil. When hot add cloves of garlic, chopped onion, grated fresh ginger, ginger powder, and paprika and sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and sugar lower heat and cook for 15minutes and reduce it down to a paste like consistency.
- Add the tablespoon of Macho Liquid Chocolat.
- Take off the heat and allow to cool.
- Slice Ginger bread and use the Heart shaped cutter to create heart shapes.
- Place ginger bread under grill on medium heat and grill until golden brown.
- Place a spoonful of the Chutney on each piece of the ginger bread.
- Season and serve.
