The in- store café gives weary shoppers the chance to re-charge whilst enjoying an authentic Liquid Chocolat, a nice pot of tea or a premium coffee. Inspired by the cocoa rich drink of the Aztecs in South America – Liquid Chocolat is brimming with real chocolate flavours. With less sugar than traditional hot chocolate, it has a gorgeous cocoa kick full of natural antioxidants and is served in a jug accompanied by steamed milk and a long handled spoon so that you can mix them together yourself. | |
However the café offers more than simply Liquid Chocolat drinks, a range of unique chocolate dishes are also available such as; Madeleine Goes Swimming – a little vanilla cake on a pool of melted chocolate; Dipping Pot Duo – two bowls of melted chocolate served with, sliced banana, mini bread sticks and marshmallows and Chocolate Five Ways – a tasting plate of five chocolates. Pop in next time you are passing to soak up the atmosphere and re-charge your batteries before hitting the shops again. My favourite product would have to be the purist range. I love discussing this range with our customers, as they are simply astounded at the varying flavour nuances produced by different chocolates, all of similar cocoa content. It really is fascinating to consider that region, bean type and production process can have such a significant effect on these rare, high quality, single estate chocolates. Come in and taste for yourself, you will be as amazed as I am!
