Hotel Chocolat is an inspirational place full of amazing people doing wonderful things. It’s the place I want to be.


It’s six years since I joined Hotel Chocolat as Product Manager for the Chocolate Tasting Club. Since then, I’ve been General Club Manager, Customer Experience Manager, Customer Experience Director and now People & Ethics Director. Each of these was a newly-created role that made sense for the business, and for me.

During my time here, I’ve set up our programmes in Ghana, learnt how to manage a contact centre, implemented the computer system that the Tasting Club runs on, set up the training department, directed the retail chain; right now I’m working on the development of our Chocolate Diploma which will help our people to become the experts that they aspire to be.

That is what I love about Hotel Chocolat. It never stands still and we constantly transform the business and ourselves. It is never easy. I can honestly say that every step of my career with this business has been sheer hard work, and I would not recommend this to anyone who isn’t able to offer total commitment. But it is always balanced by the fantastic people I spend my time with, the sense of achievement and pride I feel every time Hotel Chocolat reaches a new stage of its incredible journey, and the anticipation and excitement of everything that is ahead.
