Angus Thirlwell, Co-founder and MD of Hotel Chocolat gives an insight into the development of the concept café:
”We have recently been noticing a shift in consumer behaviour. Our customers are coming in store and spending longer and longer sampling products, browsing and discussing chocolate with our team and other chocolate enthusiasts. We wanted to be able to offer more to our customers than any other chocolate retailer in the UK and create something of a chocolate oasis for our consumers to enjoy. The concept café will hopefully respond to a growing consumer demand and will be something we can potentially roll out in more of our 27 Hotel Chocolat stores.”
